Spring in San Francisco

San Francisco is one of my favorite cities to visit; I have family up there so I travel there pretty often. The cooler temps there are always a refreshing change of pace from the heat of LA, but don't get me wrong it always makes me happy that I live in a city where anything below 70 is considered "cold". However,  San Francisco does have its beautiful days and this was one of them. It was a gorgeous day in the Bay Area to wear my fresh for spring outfit.

I started this look with my jacket: the most delicate bomber jacket with sheer sleeves and floral appliqués with beading details. I found this jacket in a boutique in North Dakota actually and fell in love with it. It is completely my design aesthetic and in line with one of my favorite trends for Spring 2014 which is the feminine bomber jacket. I paired it with this white pencil skirt from H&M and a simple white cropped tank from Forever 21. I'm a big fan of the all white look that's going on this season; it's fresh, sleek, modern, and can look very expensive and put together. I accessorized this look with a few pieces that are fun but not loud enough to take away from the simplicity of the all white look. A small vintage quilted leather cross body bag with chain strap and tassel detail, opalescent statement necklace and iridescent pointy toe heels both from F21. Whites and pastels are both major spring/summer trends this year and pairing them together can create a chic and feminine look for so many occasions. My twist? The iridescent details.
