Easter Sunday at the Club

My family spent Easter this year at The Aliso Viejo Country Club. Although this wasn't our typical Easter celebration, the food was soo good, the view was beautiful, and I always love seeing my extended family whenever possible. Oh! and I always love a celebration (a.k.a. a reason to pick out an amazing outfit).

When I was first trying to figure out what to wear on Easter Sunday, my mind immediately jumped to flowers, pastels, and feminine. But when I found this adorable black romper at the boutique LOT 2029 in non other than Fargo, ND. Whenever I vista Fargo, North Dakota with my boyfriend to see his family, I tell his sister that she MUST take me to the boutiques there. There's about four that we always go to. Let me tell you, they have tons of cute, in style, and unique pieces that are less expensive than at the boutiques here in LA. I've found some of the cutest and most unique pieces that I have in my closet

So anyways, on to the outfit. I started with the black romper. I debated wearing it because I thought black was a little morbid for Easter or something but I decided it was too cute to pass up, besides I was really excited to wear it. For shoes I wanted something spring/summery so these color block chunky heels were perfect because they tied in the black but lightened it up with the white, nude, and cork. I felt a natural color panama hat was perfect for the occasion. Something about it screams late brunch with a view of the golf course, mimosa in hand at the country club to me haha. I kept the rest of the accessories minimal: gold cross body bag, simple monogram necklace, gold rings and bangles. I didn't want to look too dressed up, I wanted it to be more of an effortless summer chic look. Below are details as to where I got all the pieces.
